Victoria is one of the finest cities in the world to live in, yet as a business environment we sometimes struggle. Tagged with the reputation as a “government town,” it can be difficult for Victoria to assert itself as a thriving business community. Young people often move out of Victoria to get ahead in their careers… and yet return to raise families and eventually retire. As a Victoria native and recently returned entrepreneur, I want to engage other business leaders in Victoria about how we build a resilient private sector business environment in Victoria.

This summit will bring together a small, engaged group of business leaders from a variety of sectors to discuss how we can build a resilient, bustling business community to attract talent and investment.

This event will also act as a demonstration for Graphic Facilitation – a method of guiding and recording a group discussion process in real-time using visual language. If you’re interested in the topic under discussion or seeing how Graphic Facilitation works, please join us for this one-of-a-kind event!

Date: March 31, 2009, 8:30-11:30am
